Samsung x120, choose Intel ULV Than Processor AMD
Along with the release of N Series, Nokia also introduced the X Series notebooks, which combine battery life 4 to 9 hours with a thin netbook form. Samsung x120 notebook uses low-power processor from Intel, which also bad news for AMD. X120 slim portable laptop is supported by the processor ULV (Ultra-Low Voltage) from Intel, the ULV SU4100, which was later known as CULV (for consumer ULV). Samsung x120 notebook is equipped with Intel Pentium ULV SU4100 1.3GHz with 800MHz FSB and 1MB cache.
Intel itself has been popular in the variant ULV notebook chips for years, and ULV chips have lower power usage than a regular mobile devices, though the level of performance is equally owned. With the combination of low power and high performance, the ULV chip slightly above normal notebook chip, which makes it rare in the market, price, and often becomes a luxury. However, according to Samsung, x120 notebook is expected to attract many customers, especially with its combination of small and battery power that lasts.
In the meantime, for Intel processors like the Core and Core 2 based ULV mediate the gap between Atom and Nehalem chips to come. It is unfortunate users who want to get a netbook with fast performance. For the price and release date, Nokia has not commented, but the price is estimated at around $ 1,000.
